For Immediate Release - November 20th, 2007

The Autumn "Books and Beyond Festival" sponsored by the Southfield Public Library was a spectular event.  God blessed our authors:  Ms. Ramelle T. Lee and Ms. Andrea Turnboe sold books at their table located outside on the grounds of the library.
 
Ms. Jennifer Worthy was a returned featured author.  She performed some of her poetry for a well attented audience.  Ramelle and Andrea also were featured with their poetry before the gathering.

Coming 2008 January:
 
Ms. Linda A. Haywood and Ms. Yvette Wilburn are scheduled to appear at the Southfield Public Library in their inside "Books and Beyond Festival."  Please come and support these authors.

The Called and Ready Writers have been featured on television.  Since October 2007, television host, Pastor Ovella Davis has opened her inspiring television program, "ALWAYS IN HIS PRESENCE MINISTRIES" to interview our gifted and talented authors.
 
Featured authors have been:  Minister Mary Edwards (founder of CRW), Mrs. Wanda J. Burnside (president of CRW), Ms. Linda A. Haywood,  and Ms. Ramelle T. Lee.
 
Other authors to appear on this program are:  Minister Carmen Murray, Ms. Yvette Wilburn and others.
 
"Always in His Presence Ministries" is aired on Saturday mornings at 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M on Comcast Channel 20 and Regular Channel 33.  We deeply appreciate Pastor Davis for her kindness and interest to our writing guild.

Monthly Poetry Column

God has opened the door for Wanda to have a poetry column in NPower Magazine. The name of her column is, The Secret Place. Her column debuted in the October 2006 issue with her poem titled, “STAND”. In November, Wanda’s poem, “Live by God’s Word” was published in this column. NPower Magazine is a production of The International Women N Power Ministries. BOOKS

I. Wanda’s story, “Passing the Test”, will appear in the book: Wounded by Words: Breaking the Cycle of Verbal Abuse. This book is to be published by New Hope Publishers. The authors are: Susan Osborne, Jeenie Gordon and Karen Kosman. The book will be released in 2007.

II. Coming this December is Wanda’s 4th book, Only God Can. It is a motion book being produced by Webtech Design Group in Utah. Terry Whitsett is the Owner. Daniel McClintock is the Designer.

Poetic Prayer A hundred copies of “Lord Bless the Children,” Wanda’s poem for children and teens, was taken to Zambia, Africa this year by her friend, Juanita Rea. Juanita went there to answer the call that God had placed in her heart to minister to the people of Africa.
