A
Mighty Long Way
Book Reviews
I was pleased to
receive one of the first copies of Dorothy Jackson Kimble’s book. I have
to say that I was unable to put the book down until I had read it from
cover to cover. Dorothy paints a vivid picture of her life and candidly
reveals the personal struggles she overcame. There is strong testimony
about the power of faith and I strongly recommend her book to all.

If you are looking
for insight, historical perspective, and a thoughtful and practical peek
at family history, then look no further than the memoirs of Dorothy
Jackson Kimble. Told in an enjoyable and entertaining manner, it uplifts
and encourages while sharing valuable life lessons. History needs to be
shared. Dorothy Kimble has done just that. Sylvia Green,

What a delight it
was to read Dorothy Jackson Kimble’s Memoir, A Mighty Long Way. She
writes a fresh, clear narrative of her life in Detroit, telling about
episodes that evoke memories for all of us. She is frank about her
problems, and she is eloquent about her solutions to them. I read the
book cover to cover without being able to put it down. Norma
