Rev. Marva writes spiritual poetry inspired by her developing relationship with the Lord. In 2005, she received a bachelor’s degree in management from Cornerstone University. In 2006, she graduated from the City of Detroit First All Female Ministers Police Academy. Rev. Marva received ministerial honors at the 2007 Michigan District Baptist Women Association. She is the Director of Operations and a board member of Daughters of Deborah, Women in Ministry, Inc. JASOG Ministry’s mission was created from Ephesians 4:12 KJV: “For the perfecting of the Saints, for the work of the ministry, for edifying of the body of Christ.” The vision of this ministry is the mission of Jesus found in (Luke 19:10) KJV: “… to seek and to save that which is lost.” The passion of JASOG Ministry is to use the gifts of writing and speaking to help in the transformation of lives through the anointing of Jesus, the Christ. The confession of Just Another Servant Of God derives from 1 Corinthians 4:1 RSV. “This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.” She is just one of the servants called into service and entrusted to reveal the truth of God’s Word. Rev. Marva is a licensed minister at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, MI under the leadership of Pastor Curtis R. Grant.
