Ramelle's Ministry Events for 2009
January 10,
2009 - Memorial Tribute to poet, Ms. Crystal Stokes. Presented her
family with a framed poetry, "Keep God In The Picture" at Unity
Baptist Church in Detroit, MI.
January 20,
2009 - Announcing a powerful Google Video featuring Ramelle T. Lee, author-poet
produced by Minister Celeste Kelley, Write The Vision Ministries.
The Co-Founder
and Director of the S.I.S.T.A.H.S. Ministry. Ms. Lee is speaking
from her book, "Step Into His Greatness" the meditation
message entitled, "Walk In God's Peace."
January 27,
2009- Provided 50 complimentary poems, " I Give You My Heart" to
Evangelist Tonie Gatlin of Portland, Oregon for her special
Valentine's Day project. Her ministry is a outreach to the
homeless. I joined with Mrs. Wanda J. Burnside's Matchless Love
project and she sent a large package that included 50 gospel
tracts, teddy bears, silk roses, candy, bookmarks, and crosses that
glowed in the dark to Portland, Oregon.
January 30,
2009 - Gift package sent to The White House from Touching Your Heart Ministries,
Author/Poet Ramelle T. Lee. In recognition of the inauguration of
the 44th
president of the United States, Barak Obama on January 20, 2009.
The first family also receive selected treasures from Ramelle's
ministry from God collection.
February 8,
2009- Provided 50 complimentary poems for a Seniors Valentine
Luncheon at my church, Greater Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church
as a giveaway gift from Touching Your Heart Ministries.
March 6,
2009 -Memorial tribute for Mr. William Legge at Greater Bethlehem
Missionary Baptist Church. Gave his beloved wife, Mrs. Tommie Legge
a framed poetry,
"Cling to God's Hope" along with 15 single print poems. Was
asked to recite this poem at the funeral services.
March 14,
2009- Provided 12 copies of my poem, "Purple Royalty" that
was recited at The Called
and Ready Writers meeting to honor women in attendance as unsung heroine's
today.
March 20,
2009- Attended three day women's retreat sponsored by Detroit Area
Women' Koinonia Inc. (D.A.W.K.) in Saginaw, MI. Presented,
president Mrs. Josephine Collins with a framed poetry and 50 single
print poems to attendees. I was
given the opportunity to recite several poems and mediation messages
from my book, "Step Into His Greatness." Had a vendor table
display and the women purchased ministry books and poetry.
March 24,
2009 - Received a thank you letter from Ms.Carrie Lewis of
Ypsilanti, MI regarding
the purchase of my book, "Step Into His Greatness" along with
a complimentary poem.
April 4,
2009 - Attended Women's Day fashion show and tea table event at the New St.
Paul Church of God In Christ. Invitation given by Mrs. Vera Beuford
who purchased
an 8x10 framed poetry, "Purple Royalty" for her "Red Hatters"
display table. Complimentary giveaway of 16 poems to her table
guest and others who visited our The Called and Ready Writers guild
vendor table.
April 22,
2009- Received special consideration from Dr. John Sealey of Sinai
Grace Hospital in
Detroit, to provide an advertising opportunity to display my book,
business flyer and poetry at his private office His patient's and
visitors were given 50 complimentary copies of a selection of my
poetry from God.
May 5,
2009- Attended Annual Prayer Breakfast given by New Testament
Church of God In
Christ at Crystal Gardens in Southgate, MI . Presented former
co-worker and friend, Minister Carmen Edwards Lynum a framed
poetry entitled, " Purple Royalty." She was today's emcee
after attended the Homegoing Services of her father, Bishop Edwards
yesterday.
June 3,
2009- Received thank you letter from Ms. Audrey A. Kidd regarding
receipt of my book purchased at the United Conference of Women last
year in Traverse City, MI. Requesting to purchase 6 more books for
her friends!
July 17,
2009- Attend prayer breakfast with a special women's circle at the
home of Mrs. Mary
Howard of Hamtramck, MI. Five greeting cards from my writing
ministry were given away to attendees. Received a monetary seed
gift from Dr. Shirley Coates who
purchased a single print poem entitled, " My Bread of Life."
August 3,
2009- Sent "Good Shepherd Healing Prayer" to Mrs. Patricia Murphy ,
Delta Sigma Theta Memphis, Tennessee chapter. Also press kit to
sorority president, Ms. Alicia
White.
August
12,2009- Received a beautiful thank you letter with an endorsement
from Prophetic Image Expressions, The Ministry of Kim Clement in
Tulsa, Oklahoma regarding my book, "Step Into His Greatness."
August
28-29, 2009- Attended Embracing the Elevation Conference, "Beauty
For Ashes" hosted by Minister Celeste Kelley at the Embassy Suites
Hotel in Southfield, MI. Featured on program to minister from my
book the meditation message, " Come Out of The Ashes." Provided 40
complimentary poems, "Chase The Dream Maker" to attendees. Had a
vendor table for two days at this women's event. Visit the

September
4, 2009- Prepared a Pre-Memorial Day celebration basket for a
family and friends
outing at The Blackburn's home in Clinton Twp., MI. Wife presented
with a red sequence framed poetry, "Keep God In The Picture"
and 19 single print complimentary poems to attendees. Displayed 8
x10 framed poetry with same poem's title. Stationery background was
a red, white, and blue patriotic flag.
September
17, 2009- Attended Southeastern Michigan Health Information
Management annual membership dinner at the Detroit-Marriott Hotel in
Livonia, MI. Presented SEMHIMA president, Mrs. Mary Mills and 7
others on the board complimentary greeting cards, "I Give You My
Heart." This was the last meeting I attended as
a part of a farewell gift from me to this organization after twenty
years of
membership.
September
26, 2009- Sent 50 complimentary poems to Minister Craig Coleman of
Pen to Paper
Literary Symposium for their upcoming event on October 12, 2009 in
Dayton, Ohio. The poem was entitled,
" A New Song Is Born."
September
27, 2009- Presented a birthday tribute framed poetry for long time
friend and neighbor, Mr. William Anderson for his 90th birthday
celebration. The celebration was held at the Mayflower
Congregational United Church in Christ in Detroit, MI.
October 10,
2009- A 75th birthday celebration was held at Unity Baptist Church
for Mr. Robert Jones. An 8x10 framed poem, "It's Time To Celebrate
was given to him for his
special day.
October 16-
18, 2009- Attended the United Women's Conference at the Grand
Traverse Resort in Traverse City. My book, "Step Into His
Greatness" was sold in their conference bookstore. Twenty women who
attended received a complimentary poem, "I Give You My Heart."
November 6,
2009- Presented 80th birthday tribute framed poetry to Mrs.
Francine Thurman at
the Karas House in Redford, MI. On program to recite poem and have remarks.
November
14, 2009- Presented three waitresses Patty, Alice and Shannon at
Leon's Family Dining Restaurant in Dearborn, MI with framed poetry
from Touching Your Heart Ministries. The Called and Ready Writers
guild met at the restaurant and one of the seniors, Mrs. Edna also
received a framed poetry, "Purple Royalty."
November
17, 2009- Mrs. Tamika Bynum, BooksAlatte in Bellevue, New Jersey received a
complimentary copy of "Step Into His Greatness" along with my press
kit for
consideration of her author's book view project.
November
18, 2009- Mailed out 19 greeting cards, "Heaven's Rainbow" to The Called
and Ready Writers guild members per request of our president, Mrs. Wanda J.
Burnside who purchased from my poetry from God ministry.
November
19, 2009-Thanksgiving project presented 21 poems, "Praying
Power" to Minister Mary Edwards for Widows with Wisdom
ministry. Also 12 copies of the same poem to Mrs. Wanda J. Burnside
for her Lamp Magazine project.
November
28, 2009- Featured on program for the 60th birthday celebration of
my long time
friend, Mrs. Jennifer Taylor. Given one my poetry from God Album collection
of poems along with recital of poem, "Purple Royalty" at this
gala event.
December 4,
2009- Attended Open Door Rescue Mission's 60th celebration and banquet
fundraiser event held at Unity Baptist Church in Detroit, MI.
Distributed 85 complimentary poems to attendees entitled, " Jesus
Is Waiting." Complimentary copy of my book given to guest
speaker, Pastor Glenn Plummer of Ambassadors of Christ
Church.
December 4,
2009- Received thank you letter from Mrs. Wanda J. Burnside along
with a signed
card from 14 people who received poetry and ministry gifts from the
both of us sent to Pastor Tonie Gatlin in Portland, Oregon.
Received several pictures of the Dignity Village team and
participants of this outreach event.
December
10, 2009- Sent several poems and thank you letter to the American
Health Information Management president, Ms. Linda Kloss in Chicago,
ILL. who is leaving her position. Also announced my departure from
the AHIMA organization after 25 years to pursue my writing ministry
for God.
December
19, 2009- Received thank you card from Pastor Jeff Shreve of From
His Heart
Ministries in Texarkana, Texas. Sent complimentary poem, "Keep God
In the Picture"
after I heard him speak on Trinity Broadcasting Network as he
ministered to the
audience about "dreams being shattered."
December
24, 2009- Project with Write the Vision Ministries, Mrs. Wanda J.
Burnside founder &
president. Donated stationery for poems written for her children's
ministry at Christmas time from Touching Your Heart Ministries.
Mrs. Burnside provided 100 poems entitled," Jesus Is Always Here"
for the children's outreach at two different churches.
