God’s Love

“For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten Son, whosoever believeth in him should not
 perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3 16(KJV)

God’s love came to 
The frightened shepherds
To whom the angel appeared,

God’s perfect love
Comforted their hearts
And removed all their fear.

His love lit up
That star in the east
To shine so bright,

To lead the wise men
To the Christ Child
One wondrous night.

Yes, God’s love laid nestled 
With the Holy Ghost
In the Virgin Mary’s womb,

And that same love
Went from the manger, to the cross
And came forth from the earth’s tomb!

God so loved us
That He gave His only Son,
Let us worship and praise Him
For Jesus has come!
